Duty Drawback is the refund, reduction or waiver in whole or in part of U.S. Customs duties assessed or collected upon importation of an article or materials which are subsequently exported. Parties who pay duties on importations of products which are ultimately re-exported out of the U.S., or are used in the manufacture of goods exported out of the U.S., may potentially be able to recover some of those paid duties from Customs.
In this 30 minute webcast, the president of DHL Drawback Services, Micah McDonald, will discuss duty drawback and the services that DHL can offer to assist in duty drawback pursuit. The focus of this introductory webcast is to raise general awareness, provide valuable resource information, and act as a precursor for more in-depth training.
