The Spotlight Newsletter: Free Webinar - Country of Origin and Marking
Free Webinar: January 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm EST
The declaration of a product’s correct country of origin is of vital importance on the Customs entry. The country of origin of a product can affect its admissibility, free trade program eligibility, Antidumping duty applicability, and more. In addition, importers need to ensure their imported products properly bear the marking of their country of origin. Unmarked and improperly marked goods face numerous compliance issues, which can affect admissibility of the goods.
In this 60-minute webinar, DHL’s Customs/import consultant William Braier will provide an overview of U.S. Customs’ regulations on origin and marking. The focus of this introductory webinar is to raise general awareness, provide valuable resource information, and act as a precursor for more in-depth training.
