The DHL Global Technology Conference is well established as an industry platform and networking event. It builds on the strengths and successes of previous years. In 2019, delegates included more than 370 technology industry supply chain experts and senior-level decision makers. Connecting to the Future, Bridging to New Horizons and Innovation were only some of the key focus topics at the Conference. Delegates also heard from Mr. Cheow Hoe Chan, Government Chief Digital Technology Officer, GovTech Singapore who highlighted steps on the evolutionary path of Singapore becoming a smart nation. In the plenary sessions, presenters also talked about the political and economic developments in Asia Pacific and delegates heard from leading technology companies about how they operate in this changing environment. During the conference,
speakers also explored 5G as the upcoming network standard and looked at how this will create new business opportunities requiring new technological solutions. A major focus of the agenda was around supply chain innovation, with various startup companies presenting their latest technologies and solutions.
