Rugby World Cup is the world's pinnacle rugby event which sees the most elite rugby athletes globally come together every four years to play for the ultimate trophy in world rugby. The event hosts 20 national teams playing 48 matches over 6 weeks - which makes for the ultimate logistics challenge. Japan will host the next Rugby World Cup in 2019. HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series is rapidly becoming the must-see event for audiences around the globe. During the course of 13 thrilling international tournaments, 16 national men's teams and 12 national women's teams compete to accumulate points at every event. The men's and women's teams which achieve the most points throughout the Series are awarded the respective Series trophy at the final tournament of each season.
